Kercheval Dance opening in the Village

Kercheval Dance is thrilled about opening in the Village of Grosse Pointe, this upcoming summer! This brand new state-of-the-art facility will feature 14-foot ceilings and the highest quality sprung dance floors as used on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. Dancers will appreciate its stage sized studio, as well as the professional sound and lighting systems.

Tracy Halso Gap, Artistic Director, grew up in Grosse Pointe and genuinely admires the community’s focus on families and a well-rounded education for children. Tracy met her husband and Studio Director, Adam Gap, in Walt Disney World during a dance intensive. With a mutual love for dance and working with children, they began planning their dream dance school.

Tracy graduated with her Bachelors in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University, “the best preparatory dance program in the nation” according to Dance Magazine. After studying dance at Oklahoma City University and Grand Valley State University, Adam graduated with his Bachelors in Business Administration from Merrimack College in Boston.

Tracy and Adam have numerous professional performance credits worldwide, including Royal Caribbean International, Walt Disney World, Cedar Fair theme parks, Tulsa Ballet, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago and more. Kercheval Dance will serve the community as a place to connect, express, and grow through the art of dance. The studio offers classes in all styles of dance for ages two to adult.
