Nutella Pretzel Cookies

A quick cookie recipe to satisfy those chocolate cravings

I decided a while ago that I am not to be trusted with jars of Nutella in the house. One spoonful quickly turns into two and the next thing you know I'm dipping pretzel after pretzel in this delicious chocolate spread. And let me tell you, Nutella induced food comas are never fun. So when a friend suggested I create a cookie inspired by a chocolate covered pretzel, I thought I would take it to the next level and add Nutella, Europe's delicious gift to America. These Nutella Pretzel cookies pack a lot of flavor into a such a small dessert. They capture that perfect collision of salty and sweet flavors in a new way. Don't get me wrong, dipping pretzels into Nutella is a pastime I thoroughly enjoy. But these cookies offer that same delicious flavor combination in a slightly more sophisticated way. Plus eating just one cookie will satisfy your Nutella -Pretzel craving, saving you from consuming an entire jar which will surely result in a terrible stomach ache. So whip up these cookies as soon as you can. Just make sure you hide the jar of Nutella immediately after.
