Group Delivers Gingerbread Houses to Grosse Pointe Seniors

Members of the Native Sons and Daughters delivered holiday cheer.

For the eighth year, members of the Native Sons and Daughters built gingerbread houses for seniors in the Grosse Pointe community.

According to Charles Krasner, chief of the Chippewa Tribe, a group of fathers and daughters delivered the gingerbread houses, sang Christmas carols and shared platters of cookies with the seniors.

Krasner thanked Betsy Schulte of Beaumont Hospital; Pete Spencer; Devon Krasner; Mike Hix; and Laurie Strachan and the Grosse Pointe Congregational Church.
