Your Guide to New Year's Eve Events in Grosse Pointe and Metro Detroit

Here are two dozen dinners, parties and other events happening on the last night of the year in Grosse Pointe and southeast Michigan.

From dancing and dinners to champagne toasts and late-night coney bars, there's lots happening on the last night of 2012 in the Grosse Pointes and southeast Michigan. Here's a roundup of events; add yours to the comments section here.

Grosse Pointe:

Andiamo Trattoria in Grosse Pointe Woods will host New Years Eve event. Dinner seatings at 5 and 5:30, 7 and 7:30, 9 and 9:30. St. Clair Shores

Coyote Station is offering free advance tickets to the New Year's party with free Coneys and chips, drink specials include $4 Jack and Coke, $4 speciality martinis and $3 Labatts, Coors and Miller Lite from 9 p.m. - midnight. Music will be provided by DJ Dilemma.

Lakeland Banquet and Event Centre will have hors d'oerves from 8:30-9:30 p.m. followed by an elegant buffet dinner with party favors and champagne toast at midnight and a Coney station at 1 a.m. Tickets are $75 per person.

PB's Sports Grille will have a New Year's Eve masquerade ball with prizes, giveaways, party favors and music with a balloon drop. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 in advance with music by DJ Big Daddy.

Pat O'Brien's Tavern has a a special $50 per person ticket for the New Year's party which includes all-you-drink ticket, a band, buffet, champagne toast and shuttle pick-up and drop-off for St. Clair Shores residents.

Fishbone’s will feature a live band.

Harbor Lanes will have a family night glow bowl for $39 per lane. There are three sessions: 7 - 8:30 p.m., 9-10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. with a maximum of five bowlers per lane.

Shore Lanes has two parties to choose from for families and adults. There is a family New Year's Eve party from 6 - 8 p.m. For $59.95 per lane, up to six people can have two hours of galactic bowling, shoe rental, two large pizzas with pop and dessert, party favors and sparkling cider holiday toast. At 10 p.m., there is a Galactic New Year's Eve Extravaganza. For $92.95, up to six people can take part in three hours of galactic bowling, shoe rentals, music, dancing, snacks, two large pizzas and beverage, party favors and a champagne toast.

Shores Inn will have a champagne toast and party favors.

Waves will has no cover on New Year's Eve and will have music by DJ Shane starting at 10 p.m., a complimentary toast at midnight and appetizers later in the night.

Family-friendly

Northville Nite New Year's Eve from 4-7 p.m.; $2-$10. Travel “Through the Decades” this New Years Eve 2012; as you enter the gates you will travel back in time to the Roarin’ 20’s and travel through the decades all the way to the future. Activities include crafts, huge inflatable games, slot car racing, carnival games, entertainment and much more. Northville Rotary Club will be selling hot dogs, pizza, and beverages. A bash with kids in mind at The Memory Room in Clinton Township will have dancing, face-painting and a pizza dinner starting at 7:30 p.m. There is no alcohol allowed at the family-friendly event; there will be a sparkling juice toast at midnight. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance by calling The Memory Room at 586-935-7010 before Dec. 28. The Memory Room is located at 20690 Hall Road.

Oakland County

The Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester has a three-course dinner for $85; a five-course dinner with music and dancing for $120 per person; or music and dancing in the lounge for $60 per person. You can add a room to your package for special pricing, too. Details here. Call 248-652-2600.

All-night party at the Palace of Auburn Hills featuring Skrillex and Boys Noize with techno music and dancing from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tickets start at $29.50. Reserve them here at www.bangnye.com.

Ring in the New Year at Prime29 in West Bloomfield; two seatings with a special pre-fixe menu for both. New Year's Eve at the Marriott-Centerpoint (Bloomfield Hills/Pontiac) features an all-night party event for singles, couples, friends and loved ones  from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Hosted by Fresh 100.3 FM/Fox2 personality Jay Towers, the event includes performances from some of Detroit's best DJ's like: Mike Anthony, Matt Aubrey, Chris Anthony, John Larson, Denis Celic and Gene. Berkley

Even Exchange will play R&B and Motown tunes during the New Year's Eve party beginning at 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at O'Mara's Restaurant. There is no cover. Novi

New Year's Eve with Mike Green at the Comedy Castle: Hour magazine's Comedian of the year for 2011 performs shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $35; call 248-542-9900.

New Year's Eve party at BlackFinn: Champagne toast, party favors, $10 gift card and complimentary hor d'oeuvres. Tickets are $30 at www.blackfinnroyaloak.com.

New Year's Eve party at Sangria: Special dinner menu, party favors, continental breakfast at 3 a.m., dancing until 4 a.m. Tickets are $15 in advance at www.neptix.com; $30 day of event.

Macomb County

Dance the night away at Zuccaro Banquet and Catering. A seven course meal will be served at the Chesterfield hall before guests dance the night away while drinking premium liquor. The celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. A late night buffet will also be served. The evening costs $65 and is for people 21 and older. For ticket information, call 586-949-4110.

Live music and Times Square video feed at The Mirage in Clinton Township.
