         10 years ago, Alex Hughes, started the Annual Grosse Pointe
Animal Adoption Society Dog Wash. As all young kids, Alex wanted to have a
Lemonade Stand but after seeing all the dogs in the neighborhood she and her
mom thought of the idea of a dog wash. 
Alex recruited her friends to help out and over the years it has grown
and grown.  Each year, the kids have
raised more and more money for GPAAS. 
This event is GPAAS second largest fundraising activity and year to date
has raised almost $10,000.00. It is a great event that really helps animals in
need.  Chief, Alex’s, 5 year old dog from
GPAAS will be on hand to help out and meet friends.

 Please come and help us

donation !!!
