Spring Luncheon - Featuring a Special Presentation on "Gone with the Wind"

Menu: Poached Pear Salad, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Wild Rice, Mixed Vegetables, Lemon Chiffon Pie, Tea

We’ll celebrate the arrival of spring and gather in the beautifully appointed rooms of the Alger House where our traditional yet comfortable setting provides the perfect backdrop for family and friends to share an uplifting afternoon of quiet conversation. The mood is always unhurried, tables are formally set with our finest bone china and the service is exquisite. Following lunch, retire to the Library where Gone with the Wind enthusiast Kathleen Marcaccio will present an entertaining program on the Pulitzer prize-winning novel and epic film. She’ll share fascinating background information that is enhanced by a memorabilia display.  It’s a classic, emotional story of the Old South, a story of love, a story of a civilization “Gone with the Wind.”
