Veteran's Day Event & Lunch

Services for Older Citizens, Neighbor

We invite all Veterans to join us on your very special day. During the ceremony sponsored by American House, Joe Salvia, Director of Veteran Services will do a roll call of the Vets that are present which will include their branch
of service. in addition, we will be honored to have as our special guests, Chapter 154 Vietnam Vets who will do a presentation of the colors flag ceremony and will present each veteran with a ribbon medal if you have not received on before.


And if you come wearing a ribbon medal, a special medal will be pinned to your ribbon. The ceremony will end with taps. A short military documentary will follow.


All Veterans will get a free lunch, but please, if as a Veteran you are joining us, let us know by calling Services for Older Citizens (SOC) at 313-882-9600.
