Guardians for Animals Pet Expo & Adoption Event

8th Annual GFA Pet Expo & Adoption Event Coming October 26-27, 2013.

The GFA 8th Annual Pet Expo & Adoption Event will be held in Madison Heights.

Hours:
Saturday, October 26th: 10AM-5PM
Sunday, October 27th: 11AM-4PM

This FREE SPOOKTACULAR Event has something for everyone....Pet Adoptions, Halloween Costume and Carved Pumpkin Contests, Raffles, Silent Auctions and much more.

Many local area animal rescues will have adoptable dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and birds available for adoption during the two-day event. 

This indoor event is free and has something for everyone.  Attendees not looking to adopt at this time are invited to bring their leashed pets* and family members to enjoy the festivities! 

Proceeds benefit GFA’s emergency fund, GFA Rescue Affiliates, and Madison Heights & Hazel Park Animal Shelters.

Activities will include:
•  Pet Adoptions
•  Halloween Costume and Pet Contests
•  Shopping - vendors supporting the animals! 
•  Dog Demos including Police K-9's
•  Microchipping (only $18) 
•  Pet & Family Photography
•  Meet the Vets
• Silent Auctions, Red Ticket Raffles and 50/50 Cash Raffle                                                                                       

Making a special appearance at this year's event is Zeus, the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records holder for the world's tallest dog!

Free admission and parking!  Pet food donations of sealed cans or bags are greatly appreciated.
