Community Corner

Living Nativity held at Christ the King Lutheran Church

Each year, Christ the King Lutheran Church hosts the Living Nativity as the church’s gift to the community.  For over two decades the event has put Christ back in Christmas with beautiful carols, live animals, and local children reenacting His birth.

Performances take place every 45 minutes and children are invited to sign up to play a part.  All guests are welcome to join the church for pizza and hot beverages afterward.  There is no charge, but a free-will offering would be gratefully received.

The event takes place on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church located at 20338 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan 48236.

For more information, contact the church at (313) 884-5090.
