Back by popular demand, Grosse Pointe Theatre will host its A Theatrical Affair Afternoon Tea on Sunday, June 26, at the beautiful Grosse Pointe War Memorial. This will be the fourth time Grosse Pointe Theatre hosts this event. The last tea was in 2007 and those who attended have been asking for an encore ever since. Guests can stroll through the beautiful grounds of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial and enjoy the lake view while sharing in an elegant afternoon tea that's sure to be a wonderful theatrical experience. This is a not to be missed event!
Guests will see more than 20 exquisitely decorated tables, each designed to represent a play, movie, or musical. The event will include: a luncheon and delicious desserts; a fashion show of elaborate 18th century costumes intricately designed and created by talented Grosse Pointe Theatre members; musical entertainment with song selections related to “Broadway Girls, Ladies, Broads & Dames;” a wonderful silent auction; and a 50/50 raffle. In addition, guests will receive prizes for the best hat and tea ensemble.
