Exquisite Affairs event and partner Comerica Bank will host the 2012 Sarah Rose Mother and Daughter Holiday Tea and Fashion Show on Saturday, December 15 from noon-3 p.m. at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.
The event will include: financial literacy, etiquette lessons, arts and crafts stations, horse and carriage ride, lunch and much more. The fashion show will feature the latest holiday lines from La Jolie Rose, a chic boutique and Hannah Bear Boutique in conjunction with a Holiday Bazaar.
“I am excited to host an event where young girls can dress up and experience the positive trends in fashion and have fun in an elegant environment. We must demonstrate to our girls the importance of manners and grace, says Tresa Deal-Galloway, president, Exquisite Affairs.”
A portion of the proceeds will benefit a non-profit organization in Michigan that directly impacts the lives of girls and women. Past beneficiaries have included “Keep a Child Alive,” an international organization that provides medicine and support to the youngest victims of the African AIDS epidemic. Celebrities and musicians such as Alicia Keys, all support the organization.
More than 200 guests are expected to attend the holiday event, which is held every other year. This year's event will be the fifth Mother-Daughter Holiday Tea held, Galloway said.
