A decent Mexican restaurant. Clothing for all body types. There is nothing for plus size in the area.

Sounds like a convenient one-stop-shop!

- something like Cavanaugh's - or an independent coffee and dessert house with comfortable seating areas and live entertainment / poetry readings / one-acts / etc...like you see in Ferndale

AHH SMART IDEA Hallie. Mexican food or a + size clothing store????
Chad Bateman September 10, 2012 at 06:51 PM
That is because Grosse Pointers take pride in their bodies. From the beautiful lakefront parks to the endless amount of activities offered through various community centers and sports leagues, there is no excuse for being plus size. If you are looking for plus size I suggest you go to Sears in Roseville.

That's funny I was just thinking we could use another coffee place or dessert place that serves crepes or something like that.
Todd September 10, 2012 at 07:46 PM
Hey Chad... thanks for logging in from Roseville to create an inaccurate image of my community. We appreciate your patronage.

Apple Store

That or a hair salon. Seriously though, it should be a campus pub for the students of South. I know I would have enjoyed one.
GP For Life September 10, 2012 at 08:28 PM
Hey Todd, Chad is right. How, specifically, is he incorrect? While, I can't speak to the plus-size selection of Sears I can speak to the accuracy of the rest of his statement. Also, you'll notice that I passed this softball up...

i knew someone would say "Apple Store", i think that get's suggested with each one of these polls...surprised no one has said "movie theater" yet. i wish i had the funds to open a combination Apple Store/Movie Theater, apparently i'd make a killing!

Italian restaurant or movie theater...
walden schmidt September 10, 2012 at 09:03 PM
@Bob - I noticed it was missing and just added a movie theater.

A motor city Gym
Skyebluesurfdiva September 13, 2012 at 09:32 PM
A Motor City Crossfit gym! I dont see how this area needs another bagel, bread, coffee, food or retail shop. It needs a real gym.

If you want all that Hippy crap, you can go to Ferndale or the Park. We don't need that garbage in our town.
