Hunt Club Tennis Junior Program

The Junior Program at Hunt Club Tennis is proving to be an incredible success. With classes running every night of the week Tennis Director Brandon Still has introduced a level 3 Junior class to the schedule.

The level 3 class is designed to prepare juniors for tournaments. Students will need to sustain a 5-10 ball directed rally, show ability to mix different spins and paces into the rally and employ different strategies to win points.

In addition to the level 3 class, we also offer -
  • Level 1 - Tuesday and Thursday (4pm - 5pm)
  • Level 2 - Tuesday and Thursday (5pm - 6.30pm)
  • Tournament Group - Monday and Wednesday (4pm - 6pm)
  • Junior Match Play - Friday (4pm - 6pm and 6pm - 8pm)
We also offer private and group lessons for juniors aged 5 and up, and all juniors enrolled in our program receive a free junior membership to the club.

Tournament News

We would like to take this opportunity to Congratulate Abhinav Nannapaneni (a member of Grosse Pointe North High School tennis team) for winning the GPHC Junior Tournament Prep Tennis Championship.

Abhinav defeated Christopher MacKethan (a member of St. Paul CYO Tennis Team) in a closely fought match that was decided in a tiebreaker after nearly two hours of play!

Well played Abhinav and Christopher!
