GROSSE POINTE WOODS RESIDENT PROUD OF FREEDOM CENTER'S FIRST YEAR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

FREEDOM CENTER Military Lounge annual report now available.

Hot off the press -- our 2012 Annual Report for the FREEDOM CENTER military lounge.  I've been involved in the formation and operation of this outstanding military lounge since a number of us veterans established our own 501(c)3 non-profit a year and a half ago.  We opened on Veterans Day 2011.  One year later, our small, but world-class lounge assisted over 30,000 members of our military, their dependents and veterans as well.

If you'd like a lo-res copy of the annual report, please send me an e-mail at j.mccandless@comcast.net.

Many Grosse Pointers are aware of FREEDOM CENTER, as I've talked about it on John Prost's TV show, addressed the GP Senior Men's Club, Detroit Rotary and other groups.  If you haven't visited FREEDOM CENTER, stop in at Gate A43 the next time you're flying out of the McNamara Terminal and take a tour.  We're steps away from the fountain.  When you tour our military lounge, shake hands with a member of our Armed Forces and thank them for their service.  You're wishes will be greatly appreciated.
