NAVY SUPPORTERS HOST COMMANDER OF USS DETROIT (LCS 7)

http://ussdetroit.blogspot.com/  Our Metropolitan Detroit Council, Navy League of the United States, is hosting a brunch in honor of Commander Mike Wohnhaas, USN, the Prosepctive Commanding Officer of the USS DETROIT (LCS 7) on Saturday, April 19 at the Detroit Athletic Club. 

If you'd like to attend this event, pleases email me at j.mccandless@Comcast.net.  The cost is $35, but includes parking at the DAC.  There is a Tiger game at 1 p.m. and CDR Wohnhaas will be introduced during pre-game ceremonies. 

USS DETROIT will be launched and christened this summer in Marinette, Wis. and will be commissioned in 2016.

Time/Location:  10 a.m. to Noon, Main Dining Room (2nd Floor), Detroit Athletic Club,

241 Madison Avenue (313-963-9200).

If you have dietary restrictions, the DAC will be able to accommodate you.

Attire:  Business Casual.  (Collared shirt/slacks … no denim).  If you wish to wear a sport coat, with or without tie, that would be fine.  Many are attending the Tiger game following the brunch, so please dress comfortably.
