WHY MY VOTE IS GOING TO MORROW

Judicial elections matter.

Judicial elections matter.  Many of us may find ourselves in  court at some point during our lives for a variety of reasons.  If we do, we will want  a judge who is fair and qualified.  Yet it is estimated that close to half of all voters do not even vote the nonpartisan portion of the ballot (usually on the back) which is where the judges are listed. When voters do vote for judges, they are  likely to vote based on name recognition rather than individual merit.   Beyond name recognition, we need judges who are fair,  qualified and who have made a significant contribution to the law and our community.  We need judges like BRIAN MORROW.

BRIAN MORROW's   legal experience is unparalleled and unique. He has 26 years of courtroom experience.  He spearheaded the innovative  "Teen Court" juvenile justice program that gives teens who commit minor offenses a second chance and teaches them civic responsibility. The program, which has a 99% rate, has helped many teenagers turn their lives around.

BRIAN MORROW'S  experience and integrity has earned him the wholehearted support of Prosecutor Kym Worthy, along with more than 100 elected officials and organizations.  He was awarded the highest rating in his race by the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association.  The Detroit Free Press  recognized him as the "class of the field" and The Detroit News  named him the "best pick" for the circuit court.

BRIAN MORROW gives back to the community.  As a volunteer coordinator for Habitat for Humanity, he works to build quality housing  for low-income families.  For years, he and his wife have  sponsored modest  college scholarships for deserving Detroit students.

As a  voter, you deserve  judges who are fair and experienced.  That is why my vote is going to MORROW.  I hope that yours will too.
