Police Blotter: Car, Wheel Theft, Spray Paint and More in Grosse Pointe Park

Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating the theft of the tires and wheels from a 2013 Ford Fusion stolen from a driveway in the 1300 block of Bedford. The car was stolen June 3 between 4 to 5 a.m. It was recovered at a school in Detroit without its wheels, according to a report. 

Garage Damaged by Spray Paint
Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating spray painting to the alley side of a garage in the 1200 block of Beaconsfield. The painting was done June 7 between 4 to 6 p.m., according to a report. 

Lawnmower Theft Ends in Arrest
Charges are pending against a 53-year-old man stopped by Grosse Pointe Park police June 7 shortly after 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of Lakepointe. The man was "pushing a new looking lawnmower," and he is known to police. He was stopped and officers discovered the mower was taken from the yard of a home on Lakepointe, according to a report.
