Snowman Contest Winner: Jack Somers
In a random drawing from the submissions for the snowman building contest, a Grosse Pointe Woods boy won.
Congratulations to the winner of the Spirit of Women Beaumont snowman building contest, Grosse Pointe Woods resident Jack Somers.
Somers built his snowman on Valentine's Day and finished it off with a hat, gloves, a scarf, glasses, ears and even a mustache. All of this in addition to the eyes, nose and mouth of course.
One of more than a dozen submissions to the contest meant to encourage heart-healthy activity for families by the Spirit of Women Beaumont Grosse Pointe, Somers was randomly chosen as the winner.

The names of all of the contestants were put into a hat and one was randomly drawn from it.
Somers wins a $100 Visa giftcard from the Spirit of Women.
