Sentencing set in Farms carjacking case; teen accused of trying to rob a St. Clare of Montefalco nun will make initial appearance downtown.

The man who stole a Ford Edge from a Grosse Pointe Farms resident in January after confronting her in her Belanger Road driveway pleaded guilty to carjacking in Wayne Circuit Court.

Edward Callens, who was 22 years old at the time of the crime, will be sentenced before Judge Richard Skutt on April 8. Callens was also charged in other carjackings he committed a few days after the Farms crime.
