A 50-year-old St. Clair Shores man reported Aug. 13 that as he and his son were unloading boxes in the alley in the 17000 block of Kercheval, a driver of a silver Honda Element approached eastbound and started yelling at the men.

According to a police report the driver, a male about 70-years-old, was upset he couldn't get through and yelled for the men to move the car, followed by an expletive. The driver was able to drive through the alley, but once the man from St. Clair Shores exited the store, the driver put the vehicle in reverse and struck the man. The 50-year-old reportedly put his hand out to stop the vehicle, and both of his hands went through the back of the back window of the vehicle. The driver reportedly turned around and attempted to run the victim over a second time before hitting a dumpster and driving away on Notre Dame.
