Grosse Pointe Park Drug Case Connected to Homicide Advances to Third Circuit Court

The man will make his next appearance in court June 26. Prosecutors said they anticipated additional charges but none have yet been filed in connection with the homicide investigation of Sabrina Gianino.

The Grosse Pointe Park man facing drug charges who is also a part of the homicide investigation in the strangulation death of Sabrina Gianino was arraigned in Third Circuit Court Wednesday.
Myron Tyrone Williams, 42, is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and delivery of marijuana. He was arraigned and underwent a preliminary exam in Grosse Pointe Park municipal court.
He was arraigned again Wednesday in Third Circuit Court, according to Maria Miller, spokeswoman for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
Williams is part of the homicide investigation involving Gianino, whose body was found inside a Wayburn duplex May 16. Her death was ruled a homicide by the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office.
Williams will make his next appearance in Third Circuit Court June 26 for a calendar conference, Miller said.
A calendar conference allows the attorneys to discuss dates for certain hearings in the case with the judge.
Williams is still in custody on a $250,000 case/surety bond.
Williams, who was described as a truck driver while in court in Grosse Pointe Park, is known to police and had most recently been serving probation in Dearborn. According to Michigan Department of Corrections, he has convictions for armed robbery and felony firearms stemming from a crime in December 1991.
