Overnight Crimes in Grosse Pointe Farms May Be Linked

Grosse Pointe Farms police are asking residents to be alert and to report anything suspicious. Two crimes involving vehicles that happened overnight are believed to have been committed by the same person.

Grosse Pointe Farms are investigating the theft of an SUV and items from another car nearby.

In an alert issued by the department Monday, officers believe the crimes are related as they occurred in close proximity and time to each other.

In the first case, a 2006 light brown Jeep Commander was stolen from a Windmere Drive driveway. Another vehicle parked in a Waverly Lane driveway was broken into and items were stolen.
