Police Blotter: 37 Bags of Marijuana Seized in Arrest

The following is gathered from the Departments of Public Safety of the Grosse Pointes. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

Grosse Pointe Park police arrested a 23-year-old Detroit man March 4 following a traffic stop near Mack and Kensington after they found 37 bags of marijuana in his vehicle. An officer stopped Anthony Snadon for speeding. During the traffic stop it was disocvered Snadon did not have a driver's license. During the arrest, officers searched the car finding the bags of marijuana, according to a report. Snadon is charged with a felony count of delivery/manufacture of marijuana, which is punishable by up to four years in prison.

Tires Vandalized

Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating the slashing of two tires on a 1994 GMC Van reported March 10. The tires on the driver's side were cut while it was in the 1000 block of Wayburn. The crime happened about 4:30 a.m., according to a report.
