Police Blotter: Arrest in Business Burglary

police arrested a 46-year-old Detroit woman in a business burglary in which $100 was stolen. Katherine Buselmeier is charged with breaking and enterin a business. She is accused of breaking into a business in the 15000 block of Kercheval Avenue April 27 and stealing cash. During the investigation, detectives received a tip that led to her arrest, according to a report.
Trustee of Estate Reports Items Missing
Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating the disappearance of several items from a home in the 1400 block of Nottingham after an estate trustee reported them missing. The estate is in the care of a trustee following the death of a resident and the trustee noticed several items missing May 3. The items were removed from the home between April 29 to May 3, according to a report.

2 Bikes Stolen
Two Grosse Pointe Park residents reported the theft of their bikes in unrelated reports. In the first case, a Schwinn bicycle was stolen from a school bike rack May 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. The school is in the 15000 block of Kercheval Avenue but police did not specify between Defer and Pierce. In the second case, a Magna Invader bike was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 800 block of Nottingham Road May 6 from 7:30 to 8:10 p.m. The bike was not locked up, according to reports.
