Police Blotter: Bicycle Theft at South, Arrest for Obstruction in Grosse Pointe Farms

Grosse Pointe Farms police are investigating the theft of a woman's bicycle from the Grosse Pointe South track. The woman parked her bike against the fence inside the track so she could walk it about 8:50 p.m. May 4 and when she returned to get it at 9:10 p.m. it was gone, according to a report. 

Refusal to Talk to Police Ends in Arrest

Grosse Pointe Farms arrested a 55-year-old resident May 3 for obstructing police after he refused to provide officers with information. Officers were called to the house by a neighbor for a potential domestic battery. Responding officers interviewed the woman but the man refused to answer questions. He was arrested and officers determined no domestic violence had happened, according to a report.
