Grosse Pointe Farms K9 officers did a sweep of Grosse Pointe South High School Wednesday morning. Officers found a small amount of marijuana in a car, according to district officials, and nothing in the school. The sweep and lockdown lasted 90 minutes, which also allowed officers the opportunity to train and become familiar with the school if they had to respond for an emergency, said Rebecca Fannon, community relations specialist.
