Police Blotter: Stolen Car Left At Scene

The following information is gathered from the Public Safety Department of the Grosse Pointes. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating the theft of a 2001 Jeep from the 1100 block of Wayburn. The SUV was stolen overnight from Feb. 15 to 16. It was parked on the street. Left in its place was a stolen car reported missing in Detroit. That vehicle had damaged locks and an ignition, according to a report.

Vehicle Damage Reported

Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating damage reported to a vehicle. A 2010 Chrysler Town and Country sustained three 12-inch scratches while parked in the 1300 block of Bedford between Feb. 9 to 13, according to a report.

Not only are the staff NOT friendly, but they don't even know their own stock...or much about everyday hardware needs :(
