Police Blotter: Theft, Harassing Phone Call

City of Grosse Pointe police are investigating the theft of a new cell phone from the porch of a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame. The homeowner reported that a new iPhone had been delivered to her home Feb. 26 but she was not home. When she returned, the package was not on her porch. UPS confirmed the delivery and the woman notified her cell phone carrier, according to a report.

Call Spurs Special Attention to Business, Residence

City of Grosse Pointe police are giving special attention to a business owned by a 51-year-old Grosse Pointe Park woman who reported receiving a harassing telephone call Feb. 28. The call was sexual in nature, according to a report. Grosse Pointe Park police have also been alerted about the circumstances because of a previous issue she had with an ex-boyfriend and harassment that led to felony charges.
