Power Restored for Many in Grosse Pointes

Power has been restored for about 1,500 DTE customers in the Grosse Pointes Sunday, including the .

There are still 531 who remain without, however. The largest concentration of outages in the Pointes late Sunday is an area in Grosse Pointe Shores with 322. There are scattered outages throughout that impact one or a few customers but nothing as widespread, according to DTE's Outage Map.

The map shows 462 customers in the 48236 zip code are without power and 69 in the 48230 zip code. For the area in Grosse Pointe Shores, there is not yet a restoration esimate and the cause remains listed as an area outage.
