Power Restored in Grosse Pointe Woods
The power was restored to the neighborhood in Grosse Pointe Woods where downed power lines caught fire Tuesday.
Power for residents along Brys Drive in Grosse Pointe Woods was restored late Tuesday following downed lines that caused the outage shortly after 3 p.m.
The Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety sent out a community alert after the power was restored about 10 p.m.
DTE crews were called to the scene to make repairs. What caused the lines to come down is not clear.
