Shots Fired at Suspects' Vehicle After Robbery in the Village

Two suspects who allegedly robbed the Moosejaw store were arrested Friday afternoon.

City of Grosse Pointe officers are investigating a robbery Friday afternoon of Moosejaw store that led to officers firing shots at the suspects' vehicle in Detroit.

After the suspects allegedly robbed the store, a witness was able to obtain a license plate of the vehicle, according to Director Stephen Poloni.

Investigators were able to determine it was a rental car, and with the assistance of the rental car agency, located the vehicle by GPS.

Officers responded to the area where the car was located, in the course of the pursuit in Detroit, Grosse Pointe officers fired two shots. 

Two of the suspects were arrested, and a third individual is being sought.

No officers, or Moosejaw employees, were injured.
