Grosse Pointe Woods to Retain its Court Recorder with New Agreement
Grosse Pointe Woods City Council approves a near identical $7,000 contract with the current court recorder.
Grosse Pointe Woods is retaining recording clerk Shirley Wohlfield for the upcoming year after the city council unanimously approved the $7,000 contract with her for the 2012-2013 fiscal year at Monday's city council meeting.
At the meeting, City Attorney Charles Berschback said this year's contract with Wohfield was nearly identical to last year's. According to the city's agreement with Wohlfield, she will be compensated in return for recording court hearings of the city of Grosse Pointe Woods.
Grosse Pointe will also be leasing recording equipment to Wohlfield for $1.00 for the year.
