Grosse Pointe Farms City Manager Shane Reeside recently administered the oath of office to the candidates who won their races in the general election.
The oath of office was administered to Grosse Pointe Farms/Shores Municipal Judge Matthew R. Rumora, Mayor James C. Farquhar, Jr., and city councilmen Louis Theros, Peter Waldemeier and Martin West.
West was also elected mayor pro-tem by City Council.
