Among the many events scheduled in the Grosse Pointes this week, here are a few of the highlights:

1. The city council will meet Monday beginning at 7:30 p.m. According to the agenda, the council will discuss the following:

  • the resignation of George Koueiter from the Mayor's Mack Avenue Business Committee
  • the road salt contract
  • a contract with Fireworks Glow Products
  • a court recording agreement for 2012/13
  • the state revolving fund contract
  • a resolution to commit fund balance
