Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen is Sworn into Office

Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen, who represents the five cities of the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods, takes the oath of office for his fourth term.

Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen is given the oath of office by David Greenspan, board member of the Grosse Pointe Democratic Club, at the commission’s organizational meeting on Jan. 3.

Killeen serves the communities of Detroit’s eastside, Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Shores, Grosse Pointe Woods, and Harper Woods.

Commissioner Killeen was elected in November to his fourth term as county commissioner.

“It is a privilege to serve the people of the eastside of Detroit, the five Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods,” he said. “The commission has a large task in front of it in this new term as we deal with our budgetary difficulties. I remain committed to serving the needs of the district as well as aggressively addressing the county-wide issues we face.”
