Katherine Yung and Joe Grimm, authors of the delicious 2012 book "Coney Detroit," will give a mouth-watering, lip-smacking talk on this difficult research project.
The talk will be illustrated by some of the 125 color photographs in "Coney Detroit" and answer all those questions that have been bothering you. What is the difference betweem Detroit style and Flint style? How many coney islands are there? Why do we have so many of them? Can I put catsup on a coney? (No!)
The writers and 12 photographers on this project are donating all the royalties to the Gleaners Food Bank of Southeast Michigan. Come out and become a more knowledgeable coney-sieur.
