'Feathers Over Water II' Planned

More than 200 species of birds call the Lake St. Clair shoreline home during some part of the year. Last spring, Rep. Tim Bledsoe hosted a presentation by Grosse Pointe Audubon President Bill Rapai on the birds of Lake St. Clair.

More than 100 people attended the discussion and slide show about the birds found in the area. Due to its success, the event will be repeated this year.

“Feathers Over Water II: The Birds of Lake St. Clair” will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, in Grosse Pointe South High School’s Cleminson Hall.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Bledsoe is asking those who would like to attend to RSVP to his office by calling (517) 373-0154 or by sending an email to TimBledsoe@house.mi.gov.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
