Farber Leads Knights from Central Midfield
University Liggett senior Ellie Farber is off to a strong start on the pitch with her unselfish play.
Every soccer coach knows that to be successful, a team must have a strong leader in the central midfield.
Ellie Farber is just that girl for University Liggett.
A transfer student last year from , Farber is new to the Knight's roster this year but is wasting no time in making her mark and taking control.

Farber scored for Liggett in their 1-0 victory over Clarenceville and was a dominant player in their early season losses to and rival Ann Arbor Greenhills.
"Ellie has the personality of a leader," soccer coach David Dwaihy said. "She is a bright, intelligent and funny kid. She has a healthy perspective on sports and has fun playing out there."

Farber has a wicked left foot and unselfishly looks to create scoring chances for her teammates.
"She is a definite presence in the midfield for us," said Dwaihy. "Ellie is an unselfish player, but is definately capable of scoring on her own. She is physically strong, shields the ball well and takes all of our set pieces."
