Five GPN Athletes Sign With Colleges
Grosse Pointe North student-athletes Michaela Liddane, Kailey Sickmiller, Taylor Moody, Sean Koerber and Laine Maher announce their colleges of choice.
Five students announced their college choices to continue their academics and sports after graduation on May 6 at the school's student union.
Student-athletes who signed included:
- - Volleyball, Ohio Dominican University
- Kailey Sickmiller - Cross-Country, Northern Michigan University
- Taylor Moody - Hockey, Michigan State University
- Sean Koerber - Baseball, Owens College
- Laine Maher - Crew, University of Wisconsin
The students posed for the traditional "signing day" photo and were surrounded by proud family and friends.

“The Grosse Pointe North community is very proud of all of our students," Grosse Pointe North athletic director Carmen Kennedy said. "It is a pleasure to be part of students achieving their goals and dreams. We have continued to carry on a strong tradition of students being active and successful beyond their high school years. An event like 'media day' is an opportunity to share the greatness of the Norsemen with the community.”
