Future Norsemen to Tour School

Public and private 8th grade students will have the opportunity to tour Grosse Pointe North Tuesday during 8th Grade Day.

Grosse Pointe North will host public and private 8th grade students from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the school.

Students who are attending 8th Grade Day should be dropped off in front by the flagpole and enter the Performing Arts Center. 

The two-hour program includes group activities, interactions with North mentors in 
small groups, question and answer sessions and visits to high school classes in session to answer questions from students and "to ease their transition to high school," according to a release. 

The schedule includes:

8:20-8:30* Students arrive and enter the PAC for welcome, yearbook video playing
8:40-8:45 Inspirational Video possible “What If”
8:55-9:00 Link Crew Introduction/Explanation
9:00-9:05 Mrs. Murray, schedule for the morning
*Students paired with mentors: North students will go into the PAC and select their 4-5 students and start their schedule. 

This will be followed by tours of the building and conclude with closing remarks.
