Kate Murray Takes Over as Grosse Pointe North's Principal
After gaining official approval earlier this week, Kate Murray will take over being the principal at Grosse Pointe North High School.
Assistant Principal Kate Murray is taking over Grosse Pointe North as its principal this week after she gained official approval from the school board.
Murray has been at North for a number of years. She began there as a student teacher and essentially never left. She remained teaching in the classroom until last school year when she accepted the assistant prinicpal position.
Now she's taking over the helm. She replaces the , who was hired earlier this school year to fill in while the district continued its search for the right candidate.
