Parcells Community Remembers Teacher, Coach, Mentor

Students, teachers and the family of Brian Aulph gathered Monday to dedicate a Fall Fiesta Maple tree, picnic table and benches in memory of the beloved teacher who died earlier this year.

The Parcells Middle School community gathered in the school courtyard Monday to honor and remember the late Brian Aulph.

Aulph, 36, passed away unexpectedly in mid-February due to complications following heart surgery, according to a letter Parcells Principal Cathryn Armstrong sent to parents. Aulph taught Spanish at the middle school for 12 years, was a chaperone on the Washington, DC trip and was a high school football coach.
