Poupard Students Raise Money for Tornado Victims

Students from Grosse Pointe Public's Poupard Elementary school held a can drive to benefit the victims of the recent tornado that destroyed many homes in Dexter.

students helped raise more than $100 through a can drive to benefit the recent victims of the tornado that destroyed many homes in Dexter.

Students contributed to the drive for one week and the money will be donated to a victim relief fund. Principal Penny Stocks is to personally deliver the check.

The money was raised through contributions by families of Poupard students of returnable pop cans.
