Vote for Grosse Pointe North Student Produced TV Commercial

The school has already earned $500 and has a chance to win $10,000 for a student-produced television commercial featuring a Ford Focus.

Two Grosse Pointe North students participated in the Ford Focus on Schools program in which high schoolers from the Great Lakes area produced a commercial promoting the 2012 Ford Focus.

Danny Schrage and Chris Janson created the commercial for North after working with Roy O'Brien Ford Dealership to take possession of a 2012 Ford Focus, said Brian Stackpoole, the North television production teacher.

The program was offered to 250 schools throughout the Great Lakes area and hundreds of commercials are in the running to earn between $1,000 to $10,000 based on voting. The 10 schools that earns the most votes win, according to Ford Focus on Schools Facebook page.
