Whiz Kid: 7-Year-Old Welcomes Challenges
This middle child is up for anything from acting to snowboarding, his mom says.

- Accomplishment: Joseph played Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol last year at the Bonstelle Theatre; is reading the Waggits series of books and loves to snowboard.
- Key to Success: "Joe is not afraid of any challenge. The play was a tremendous amount of work. He performed 11 shows and never missed one of his lines. As far as reading, he attempts every word, some challenging ones were: obsequious and dissension. I even had to look up the meanings. And to top it off he is a great middle child getting ready for his first communion," his mother Jane Plieth said.
Every Wednesday a child in the Grosse Pointes will be recognized for his or her achievements and identified as the Grosse Pointe Patch Whiz Kid.
