1 Win, 2 Losses: Park 12s International Little League Team at Regionals

Sunday's game was delayed shortly due to rain. Indiana took and held the lead. The Grosse Pointe Park team did not score any runs.

Grosse Pointe Park's 12s International Little League team lost its third game in the Great Lakes Regional Tournament Sunday. The opposing team, Evansville, IN Golfmoor Little League, scored 22 and the Park did not score any runs.

The team earned the state title and moved to the Great Lakes Regional Tournament in Indianapolis, which began Friday. Winners from this tournament will advance to the 2011 Little League World Series in Pennsylvania.

The Park has played two of four scheduled games.

The outcomes thus far:

  • Friday vs. Burlington, WI, the Park lost 1:7
  • Saturday vs. Rock Falls, IL, the Park won 8:2
  • Sunday vs. Evansville, IN, the park lost 0:22
