Golf Lessons for Grownups

It's never too early to think green! Adult Golf Instruction classes begin in February at the Lavins Activity Center. The class is geared toward beginners and for those who seek a skills refresher. Those who sign up must bring four clubs to the first class: A wood, 7-iron, pitching wedge and a putter. You'll get hands-on instruction, and you'll be videotaped each session so you can see your game in action. The lessons will be taught in the Golden Family Gymnasium. Matt Bodde, Golf Pro at the Country Club of Detroit, will teach the course.
