GP North Boys Swim Team Wins First Meet
The win for Grosse Pointe North Boys Swimming and Diving Team puts them at a 1-0 start to their season.

The Boys Swimming and Diving team kicked off the 2011/2012 season with an 94-86 opening meet win against Utica Stevenson Tuesday.
Christian Mellos and Justin Rakowicz were double winners.

Mellos took both the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard breastroke in D2 state qualifying times.
Rakowiciz notched a win in both the 100 yard butterfly and the 500 yard freestyle. Rakowicz's time in the 500 was a D2 state qualifying time.

Single winners included:
- Peter Shea in the 200 yard freestyle
- Duncan MacAskill in the one meter diving event
North is now 1-0 (0-0MAC Red) in dual meet competition.
