Grosse Pointe Football Teams Begin Season with Practice, Look for Answers

High school football practice begins Monday for Grosse Pointe North, Grosse Pointe South and University Liggett. Find the season schedule here.

Can repeat its success? Can rebound? Can make a return trip to the state playoffs?

Those are the questions as the high school football teams in Grosse Pointe begin practice on Monday.

Last season, Grosse Pointe South advanced to the Division 2 state semifinals; Grosse Pointe North went 2-7 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2003; and University Liggett qualified for the postseason for the first time since 2002.
