Grosse Pointe North Boys Swim Team Competes in Championship
A championship swim meet ended with Grosse Pointe North Boys Swimming and Diving Team taking fifth place.

The Grosse Pointe North Boys Swimming and Diving Team finished in fifth place in the Macomb Area Conference Red Division Swimming and Diving Championship at Chippewa Valley. The competition was Thursday through Saturday.

- Matthew Leone 50 freestyle and 100 yard backstroke
- Danny MacAskill 200 and 500 yard freestyle
- A.J. Owens 50 and 100 yard freestyle
- Patrick Turnbull 200 yard individual medley and 100 yard freestyle
- Duncan MacAskill 1 meter diving
- Matt Stander 100 yard breastroke
Matthew Leone established a Division 2 state qualifying time with his 2nd place finish in the 100 yard backstroke.
Duncan MacAskill and William McNelis have qualified for the D2 Diving Regionals to be held at Birmingham Groves March 5.

Season best performances were recorded in the following events:
- 50 yard freestyle: A.J. Owens, Alex Owens, Graham Eger
- 100 yard freestyle: Danny MacAskill
- 500 yard freestyle: Danny MacAskill
- 100 yard bacstroke: Matthew Leone and Michael Lemanske
- 1 meter diving: Duncan MacAskill and Sam Shehadeh
